Hi team,

For those of you using the AES/EBU input of our Devialet:
- what AES/EBU cable have you been using?
- what AES/EBU cable would you be using if money were not an issue?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Bernard

I'm extremely happy with AQ Diamond.
I had good results with Audience 24SX cable when I was using it with Mutec.
Thanks!

For the AES connection from my Streamer/DDC to the Devialet Master, I just upgraded from an Audioquest Carbon to an Audioquest Diamond (with the new design DBS pack). The Carbon was good. The Diamond is better all around. Comparing the two, tone and character are similar. The differences are the Diamond has a clearer mid-range with a denser sound with more body, texture and details in the sound stage.

I'm happy! Smile
I'm so happy with the Audioquest Diamond AES cable that I just went and upgraded my USB cable from the AQ Carbon to the AQ Diamond. Upgrading the USB cable gave similar improvements as with the AES cable - a bigger, clearer, detailed soundstage and a more 'effortless' sound. The bass is also tighter and better controlled.
The AQ Diamond is absolutely great. For a smaller budget the AQ Coffee is also a great choice.
Very happy with the Shunyata Sigma.
I was so impressed with this cable that I started a little Shunyata shopping spree :-)
Thank you all for your inputs!

I am very heavily invested in Shunyata but at the moment only for power products. I should receive soon one of the first Omega Ethernet for the Raat path.

Waiting for them to release an Omega AES/EBU is of course an option. Or going to Chord Sarum T or even ChordMusic is tempting too.

Audioquest is obviously a popular option too.

Cheers,
Bernard
