While playing over wifi, Spotify Connect or Tidal via UPNP, sounds cuts for a few seconds on the left (I assume the slave) speaker. Happens very frequently and it is very frustrating Angry . I already had Devialet change one speaker for me but the issue seems to persist with the other speaker. My setup doesn't allow me to connect them via ethernet. So is there any other solution to this problem ?
Thank you in advance.
You're using the most recent software update gotten via the Devialet app?
Also, how are the 2 Reactors connected? If with wifi, suggest changing over to PLC (for Power Line Communication). Best way to run PLC is to have the 2 Reactors plugged into the same power board/strip.

Yes everything is up to date

I tried both. Both WiFi and PLC generate the problem. Sometimes PLC more often and longer than WiFi as they are not connected to the same wall-socket.

How strong is your wifi signal? A phone app can measure this.

Suggest getting a power board or strip to connect both Reactors and retry PLC.

If there is still a problem, go back to Devialet with the above information.  You may have a hardware fault.

I'm using a 5GHZ wifi signal not further than 3m away from the speakers. Small room (some 17 sqm)

I'll contact them. Thank you.
Weird thing is it's the second time it happens so they will end up changing a second reactor...

This is not necessarily proof that WiFi is working. You may have a device interfering, or maybe there is another WiFi transmitter nearby on same channel that is not always on. Hence the suggestion to use a phone app to measure and also check at different times of the day.

Not sure why you are reluctant to get a power board to test PLC? PLC is stable and sounds better than WiFi.
I agree with Snoopy. It would be best to use an app to check your wifi speed. Also, 5G is a cell network identifier. Are you not using a regular ISP?
You might downloading an album to your phone and see if you have the same issues if it's some kind of issue with your WiFi signal that will help. I'm guessing you've already tried resetting the speakers? Might try that a few times to get the speakers to act nice with each other.
To test if PLC helps you might be stuck plugging them into the same outlet just to get the speakers to find each other. See if that helps make things more stable. Once they make the PLC connection then unplug and move them where you want them and see if they do a better job of finding each other.
I've had problems with PLC because the electrical wiring in my house is all goofy so had to try multiple different outlets so finally get PLC to work. But with the latest updates wifi seems to work best now but you do need a decent wifi signal to the speakers to be happy.
If all else fails keep spending money and the answer will appear haha . Hope you get it worked out.
