My D400 can be set up for dual phono inputs, but I've never done it.

As my TT can handle a 2nd arm, and I have a spare arm, I was thinking of trying a 2 tonearm / dual phono set up.

Has anyone set up for dual phono inputs?

How does the RAM button the remote know which phono stage to apply the settings to?

Any issues discovered?

In the Configurator, apply the correct settings for each cartridge on the separate inputs. Name these inputs so that you know which is which. As far as I can tell, there is no need to assign a RAM button on the remote.

I like using RAM -- I have 7 carts.  It's a pain to have to go back to the Configurator each time I change carts.  On the fly is much easier.

As for naming...

I had no idea the Configurator lets you name inputs.

You don’t need RAM enabled as a remote button to be able to adjust cartridge settings on the fly, at least not on the master phono input. I’m not sure about the companion input though.
