Osokolo read the thread called power isolators/conditioners.

Devialets do NOT play well with furman power conditioners! They severely strangle the output of your amp.
I just did and the only opinion on Furman in that thread was yours. I have been using Furman in my system for about 10 years and not only did it protect my systems but it also made them very quiet and quite honestly I never noticed any choking that you are describing. I even spoke with Furman engineer and they explained how amp outlets have gobs of power readily available for those transients. I am a bit skeptical of your statement, to say the least but I do appreciate your comments.
I replaced the stock cable with a modestly priced Shunyata Venom HC and had an immediate "wow" moment. A week later, I added the Venom Defender module. Both Venom HC and Defender are on same outlet plugged into a Hubble 8200HW.

This was about three weeks ago and it's raised the performance of the Devialet 120 to another level. I would highly recommend this entry level AC cord which actually fits the Devialet properly and allows you to use the back cover.

Next step is to install a 15amp dedicated line in the coming weeks using some BIS Audio receptacles. Just getting this sorted now.
I have the opportunity to purchase a Crystal Cable Crystalpower Standard power cable at a very good price. Has anyone here tried it ? It would replace a 3 week of Shunyata Venom HC which I am currently using. Last night I had the chance to try the Shunyata Digital power cable (which is a step up from the Venom HC) and immediately there was a sense of bigger soundstage and better imaging. I suspect the Crystalpower Standard power cable would be just that much better than any of these two cables and probably kick it up a notch or two.

In terms of dedicated lines, a funny thing happened. Since installing and using a dedicated line last week, everything sounds brighter. There are clearly more details and dynamics but the overall presentation has changed. However when using the better (and more expensive) Shunyata Digital, the "brightness" was removed and there was a better sense of flow and synergy.
I'm curious whether anyone has tried Paul Spelz's Anti Cable power cables?

While I haven't tried the CrystalPower Standard I use Crystal Cables Dreamline & Ultra exclusively on power, speakers, analog/digital IC's and XLR's. All terminated with Furutech carbon fibre rhodium plated terminations. Since 2009 its been the only cable/cord brand I use. Reason being, once you try one you're ruined for anything/everything else! My cable collection now would cost well over $85k to replace with new but I've only ever paid retail once and that was the original. Simply put, the best I've ever used hands-down on EVERYTHING they make! Only config I don't have CC's for is Toslink.

If you can buy it "right" I say go for it!
I connected my Synergistic Tesla Hologram A today and it works very well indeed. It is a thick and somewhat stiff cable but it sounds great. Very smooth, fast and dynamic.

HI Manoet,

That's some serious cable budget !!! I did it. I took a leap of faith and purchased the CrystalPower Standard power cable and also picked up a Siltech Classic Anniversary HF coaxial to compliment my Siltech speaker cables. Chances are I will probably keep these cables for some time.
Trust me, it didn't start that way. It was not unlike what you just described as your first foray into CC's... a "leap of faith." But once tried became an almost overnight ongoing pursuit lasting almost 6 years and counting. I could've easily gone the same way with Siltech at the time but there was something about the CC aesthetic that I found incredibly compelling. Over the years my hifi componentry has come & gone but my CC acquisitions have only grown and are coveted as my most prized audio possessions. At only a week and a half into the Devialet 200 I'd like to think it might stick around as long but only time will tell. And even with it allowing me to use far fewer CC's in my system nary a single piece will be put up for sale... unlike the high-end DAC, pre and mono blocks it replaces.

I've even purchased raw lengths of CC's with damaged terminations and or 'scalped', burned or otherwise damaged sections of outer insulation at fire sale prices to keep around and use internally on amps at both the input power and speaker output wiring side of things with incredible results! Same with total internal rewiring of some external or standalone PSU's. I use them exclusively in all my internal speaker crossover wiring and also make my own passive power distributors for my own use with CC for internal star wiring along with Furutech GTX-D AC rhodium plated receptacles. The Devialet is the first new amp/DAC/pre I've brought in here in several years that I won't attempt to modify similarly and for only one reason... no wire at the usual locations I normally go after improving. But a little secret for your entry into CC's; 1. Furutech Carbon Fiber rhodium plated terminations are unbeatable with CC's! And 2. WBT NextGen 0710 Fine Silver binding posts at one or both ends of CC speaker cables are a match made in heaven! And since the husband & wife team of Edwin and Gabi Van der Kleij make both Siltech and CC using similar/identical silver/gold internal conductor composition metallurgies with Kapton coatings you'll find those experiences certainly hold true on your existing Siltech inventory as well.

Good luck with the CC power cable and please let us know your impressions after a suitable audition. I'm excited for you!
anyone tried the Yter PC or Audionet P10?
