I got the SR Dev-spec sometime back and I too was facing the same difficulty as you. I contacted SR Customer Service and they suggested that on a bright day under the Sun, I straighten the power cord and leave it in the sun for 1-2 hrs. After which, pick it up, bend it to shape and install. Once the powercord returns to room-temp, it would stay in that shape ...
Hi there, anyone here who has already tried to build a custom DIY power chord for Devialet Expert line?

We have started a collaborative project on the French Hifi forum. The target build cost is < 30€ / power chord, with a performance as good as it can be on most of our systems. There are always local factors specific to one's electrical supply, so results may vary, but it should be as good and robust as possible. The secret ambition is to be at the level of XXX or even XXXX $£€ devices.

The first tests are encouraging, the 1st generation is under testing and at least already outperforms the chord supplied by Devialet.  Nevertheless, there is still a lot of work ahead to evaluate more configurations and finalise the design early in Q1-2018 I guess.

I am eager to know if someone here already took the DIY route. Also if you believe you have a good experience of power chords on your Devialet, have critically tested many, and are interested to be part of the testing/validation phase, send me a PM.

For the sake of clarity: this is an hobbyists initiative, there is no intention to commercialise the product. The design with build instructions will be made available to the community. Manufacturing will be up to you Smile with the intention to keep it as simple as possible.
@Alec_eiffel I've made a short power cable primarily for the length (maybe 40cm). I have simply used a cable similar to the one that came with the amps originally. Removed the outer cover and braided the three conductors. Works OK and is very flexible, but I do not think it is 'audiophile' in any way. I've never tried the AQ that came with the Pro. Too stiff and too long

The contemplated technique allows for something between 50cm and 1m, with three separated chords, not too stiff, would it work in your case ?
Here is a picture of the latest prototype (far from being finalised, internal wires to be tuned, spacers to be added between polarities etc.).

My house had my Goldmund cables in place when I removed the preamp and monoblocks I just used the goldmund cables already there. A bit stiff but the little electrons seem to find their way back and forth fine Smile
My amp is mounted in a special way so a very short cable makes sense, but the one you've pictured should work. Power outlets are not grounded so I could probably omit the third wire.
I was interested to find a better IEC connector which does not interfere with the backplate. I saw that Furutech made a new IEC connector designed to fit Devialet: Fi-C15 NCF http://www.furutech.com/2016/11/07/13978/ which is rhodium plated copper. It is well made but it is too long to allow the backplate to slide in completely on my D250 so I had to return it (might fit 130 -440??)

I use this one, easy to solder and fitting perfectly http://r.ebay.com/FeISff

I have four power cords with that Furutech connector. Two DIY cords with Acrolink P-4030II wire and two made by Triode Wire Lab. They perfectly fit under the hood of my D250s. I have one original D250 and one D-Premier upgraded - the cases are slightly different but both accommodate the Furutech IEC plug. Strange you can't put the backplate back in place.
My D250 was one of the first D-Premier and the backplate has a protrusion on the sides housing a spring loaded ball. The end of the Furutech IEC hits it to completely slide in the backplate (4mm too long).
