I guess that’s why they called them PHANTOM Smile

Nice it workout for you finally.

Is input auto switching supported on the Phantom I's (or classic phantoms) ? For instance, if I play something via Roon - and then turn on the TV connected via optical, will it automatically change inputs without using the Devialet app ? Great if someone could confirm it works reliably Smile
As a little nugget: the Roon signal path will mention the Devialet Processor (SAM) and ADH Amplifier (Devialet ADH) with the update that is being released later today tomorrow. So if you’re feeding a 48kHz/24Bit signal or below to the Phantom(s), it will show as “Enhanced” in the signal path.

Since sound is better than ever with this release, I’ll gladly overlook the sample rate limitation. Even though I don’t agree with manufactures like Devialet not being transparent about these restrictions from the get go.
@DesertEagleAZ

Tomorrow, right.
How about fixing those bugs in 2.12.3 ?
The disconnection of the speakers and all those reboots.
Now i get why they did a roon ready certificate.
The speakers generally not working so what the heck lets say its roon ready .

The 1.8 is a Roon update, not Devialet. Devialet has to fix their own problems, that's not on Roon. Maybe Roon should have done more extensive testing of RAAT before certification, but at the end it's Devialet. Not the first time they've made a mess of a software update.
Yes i now 1.8 roon update.
But i can't enjoy roon if my speakers 🔇 dont work .
