Hi all. I’m having trouble upgrading my Phantom I Golds to DOS 2. One upgraded fine. The other just won’t - keeps getting hung up on the transmission step (usually somewhere around 20-30%). Have tried unplugging, restarting, both through WiFi and Ethernet, to no avail.

They say insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. I’ve done it about 50 times now so I must be insane.

Help! Anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
Idk maybe try closing the app and rebooting your phone or device?

Yep tried all that. Restarted phone. Restarted app. Reboot Phantoms many times!
Have you tried to reinstall the app or clear all app data? Please try to upgrade using another device running the app.
Try to complete the process with another phone.

I deleted the Devialet app, redownloaded, and tried it again. No dice.

I also downloaded the app on my partner’s phone and tried that too, but again getting error at the migration stage.

I think it gets hung up on this part. It asks me to connect my smartphone to a WiFi network with a specific Phantom name with number, but then when I go to WiFi settings on my phone, there’s no such option.

Anyone have any ideas?
Have you tried with both an Android device and iOS device?
I would believe that Devialet Support has a solution to your problem.
Phantom makes his "own" wifi during setup process.
So its not s phone setup problem if you cant see your speaker as wifi spot.
Did you try to full reset them.and upgrade?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did a full reset and saw some difference. Now I am able to connect to Phantom’s WiFi. But then in the next step, it still hangs up at the migration stage. I can’t get past 20-25% or so.

Any other suggestions? So frustrating!

Bt & location are one?
In the process of upgrade you should connect to devialet hot spot and then its move automatically to ur wifi.
See that its really happening ,this jump from hot spot to your wifi IF not change it in the process your self.
