Really didn’t want to be writing this, but a few days into my 2.12.5 update and the same problem just returned.

Left speaker goes into phased jitter just like before on 2.12.3. Only rectified by full reset.

Exactly like posted in video by @eladeb

Heart sinking moment as I thought it was all sorted.

I’ve submitted a ticket and will see what happens.

Let me know if I’m not the only one......

Sorry to hear that, both for your sake and, selfishly, for the sake of the little spark (no pun intended) of optimism I felt that Devialet was actually now on top of this.

The thing that surprises and confounds me the most is that of all the people who have reported being affected by this problem your Golds are the closest to mine in vintage (K47s iirc, meaning they were made just four months after mine).  Of course we have no way of knowing what if any hardware spec changes D may have made between those production runs, or indeed if hardware differences are actually a factor here at all.  But it just seems cruelly ironic that yours are the closest to mine in age and yet behaving completely differently.

Really hoping you get a fix soon, these should be just "set and forget".
Thanks @struts. Appreciate the sympathy as feeling pretty low on this. Just so frustrated.

Just spent all my budget on a new turntable too so was hoping for some stability!

They seem ok again now. It’s odd it is so randomly intermittent. You never feel you can relax and enjoy as you are on edge waiting for it to happen.

Interesting what you note about the similar age but no comparison issues. Mine are actually the classics not golds but I think the previous issues others had effected the whole range.

Don’t want to force back an update like others have done, but was interested to know if this would work to take me two updates back now?!

Have you tried a reflash? Maybe not everything took

You are not the only one.  I am so tired of everything working with Devialet support and the reboots t hat I have resorted to using TV sound.  The user/listening experience has become a constant source of disappointment.   The only upside, is that maybe my family will be so irritated that I will get to go ahead to purchase new equipment.

Thanks for reply.

Do you have the same issue, and on 2.12.5?

I had the usual response from Devialet to reset them - as if I wouldn’t have tried that already given the constant hassle. Reset is now the norm and like a switch on procedure.

It was stable all of yesterday though, so still odd it’s so intermittent for me. Rock solid for months before the last two rushed updates though.

Agree on your upside. I spend all last night researching alternatives. What would you consider? Thanks

I found on my stereo setup,
If you place one of WiFi and the other on auto, this resolved my problem.

I also experienced a similar phenomenon several times over the weekend, but I can't confirm whether this is due to firmware 2.12.5 or ARCH.
