The test seems very elaborate, but I think they only tested a single speaker. We all know stereo is necessary to get a proper result. In their conclusion they mention spatiality and say this: "..falls short is the spatial attribute, in part due to its design and nature as a mono device..." duh! That is how a single speaker should sound. Any 'spatiality' from a single speaker means signal manipulation and DSP trickery.

Don't know about that review. Seems to be more in depth as the usual reviews out there and tries to be scientific. But how do they actually come up with the scoring?
