Hey all - found a use for the dialog (that was replaced by an Arch).

By using volumio webradio, running on a raspberry pi 3 with a hifiberry Digi+connected via SPDIF to the Dialog.
- of course you could plug this into any phantom optical, but the point is its not hanging some toslink cables dangling off your wall. ;-)

Pretty much plug and play, really did not have to do anything other than flash the microSD card and plug it all together.
Was able to hook it up to the network powered by POE (the pi not the dialog) and put away out of sight. then control to pick the radio station from a web browser interface.

The point is: that old dialog lying around might be useful if you also have a few other spare parts.

Hi @Johnnydev - what is C5+ ?

Would love to check it out. This solution has proven to be problematic. The "optical cable is unplugged" too frequently when you pause a stream and let it idle for too long.
