So I've recently aquired Two phantom ll 95dbs and I've tinkering with placement and wondered if maybe I should wall mount them instead.

The gecko wallmount look stealthy but how does one turn on the speakers once they're off ? Let's say they're mounted that high that you can't really easily reach for the power button on the back? Is there any other way to power them on ? Does "pulling the plug" hurt them in any way ?
The Gecko is sturdy, but is designed so that you'll have to mount them fairly high on a wall to have the Phantoms point at the listener and not the floor..
KEF's wall mount for the LSX, called B1 Wall Bracket should fit the Phantom II (I hope - I haven't tried). It won't solve your on/off dilemma, but positioning the Phantoms will be easier. The B1 has adjustments for both sideways angle and tilt so you could place the Phantoms around one meter above the floor and tilt them to point straight ahead towards the listening area.

I have geckos, and I switch off power centrally after every use. You can switch them off from the APP though, if you thin this is better for them.

Nice, well that was my thought connect them to on a powerstrip with a switch on it or even better smart plugs that i can turn on/off in app, I have one for Philips hue. I cant for the life of me figure out how to turn the speakers off using android it just doesnt work with any of my android devices. Only the iphone in the house has the ability to turn them off Tongue
Curious to see how you're geckos look, placementwise etc. are they high up ? Guess I'll have to deepdive the My setups thread at some point as well.
