Hi ,
I have stereo gold .
Wanted to connect them to my turnble .
Have puffin preamp with coaxial .so rca to turnble coaxial from puffin preamp to
ADC and ADC to toslink to speakers .

Two questions:
It that worth the hassle ? Sound wise .
Does it matter what ADC is connected ?

I have the Parks Audio Puffin too and use a CYP coax to optical converter whenever I need an optical output from the Puffin. Great little box, highly recommended. You can get rid of the DA/AD conversion you're describing.

I think that  this analog to digital don't sound good as i thought when turnble is playing .

I didn't due to the price. The CYP AU-D2 is about a tenth of the price of the Arch.
