Given MQA is going into Administration, Tidal will be moving to Hi-Res FLAC. Any chance, Devialet Phantom's will support Hi-Res FLAC? I Really hope so. Thoughts?

It already does, Qobuz uses HiRes FLAC since its inception.
On another thread I have been bemoaning Phantoms failure to play anything above 24/96.
I have now heard back from Devialet and they confirm they do not support anything above 24/96. Higher res than that is on the developers roadmap but no statement as to when or if this is going to be investigated.
So, for now, 24/96 will play but higher res will pause playing then restart at point of pause after the track is buffered I guess then pause again when it reaches the buffeted limit.
The only way I have found to play a 24/192 track is to pause it at the start then it plays throughout that track but you have to do this for every track which is quite cumbersome.

Any news on this Steve? With new Tidal in full bloom this an issue now. Why is this so difficult to fix?
Very sad to say I’ve given up hoping to hear that Devialet has fixed their known issues.
I just cannot understand how they can be so on the money with the hardware but so lacking in software implementation.
I decided to sell my pair of gold phantoms for something half the price but at least will happily play 24/192 files without any issues whatsoever.
I am still connecting via Ethernet but it does do the same resolution via WiFi. The sound may not be as exciting but I can just relax and enjoy whatever I decide to play and whatever bit rate it is offered as.
I still use UPnP to connect my Innuos Zenitth and it’s happy days.
Lost loads on selling the Phsntoms but it’s now someone else’s problem I guess.
