After many unsuccessful attempts and several emails back and forth with Devialet support, I'd finally give up on Air playing 24-bits music. Air just keeps dropping.

So, I go back to my Bluesound Node. Though Node can output 24/192 via toslink, but D200 can only support up to 24/96 bitrates on its optical input. I decided to just use the RCA out from Node and add iFi iTube (Class A tube buffer) in between Node and D200. I had been listening with iTube with my last system. When I upgraded to D200, and hearing and reading so much about D200 will convert all analog signals to its digital domain, I thought I will not be able to listen to 'tubed' music with D200. To my surprise, the end result is exciting. For the past week after installing D200, I just find something is missing. Today, the music returns.

I'm not sure if this is a placebo effect, but at least, I'm enjoying my hifi again.
Hello - Interesting setup you have here Smile.
How dd you figure D does not support beyond 24/96 by playing 24/192 and it failed to ready or part of spec defined somewhere ? because this limits the products in search for streamers. USB could be good option for streamer search or digital Coaxial (any limitations here too?)
For similar reasons, I decided to use Bluesound Node as a streamer for the Devialet.

However, I decided to go back to wireless streaming for the following reasons:

I found the sound to be "harsh" compared with wireless streaming - I use the Bluesound on a secondary system and do not find this problem there.

Bluesound Node has an upper limit of around 80 000 tracks.  My music library is around 110 000 tracks

Frankly, I could not hear the difference between the CD quality version and the high resolution version of the same track
Very happy with my Moon MiND and Teddy Pardo 12v linear PSU.
Try that?

Devialet toslink max bitrate support is 24/96. It is confirmed by Devialet support.

Digital coax can support up to 24/196.

There is now a SPDIF coax modification available for the Bluesound Node: http://magnahifi.com/index.php/en/websho...coax-spdif. It is really silly of Bluesound not to include SPDIF coax so this had do come. Even BNC output is possible for the same price.

Well, I ordered an optical (toslink) to coax converter that support up to 24/192.  The cost is only RMB75 incl freight (~12 Euro). I will keep you guys updated on the result.

Interesting ! Will wait for your update.
Today, my Toslink -> Coaxial digital audio converter arrived. Just in time for a nice weekend listening. I played Norah Jones' Not Too Late 24/192 album using my Bluesound Node output via Toslink to this new converter and coaxial to D200. It works flawlessly.

Now all my HD music streaming without the need of a PC/Mac is no longer an issue. I believe this is the most cost-effective solution to stream 24/192 music to a Devialet (except DSD which Devialet currently still doesn't support).
HK - this is wonderful Smile

So you now dont need ifi iTube too correct?
