Could any member please enlighten me what the main differences are between these models?
I'm looking to buy a 250 second hand or 200 new.
You probably need to demo them both and see which you prefer; for me, the 200 just didn't cut it whereas the 250 was magic.
I've the offer of a very recent 250 at a good price. It will replace a Linn Klimax Kontrol and Linn Klimax Solo 500's. I don't think I'll be going to 800 although I may opt for 400. Choices, choices...

Pretty much fully kitted LP12 and Mac Mini, although I must admit that I may I may just go to Mac Mini.

Pretty much fully kitted LP12 and Mac Mini, although I must admit that I may I may just go to Mac Mini.

I've compared my 200 to 250 (non pro) yesterday in my room and system (check my signature).
To be honest there was no comparison.
The 250 sounded classes above 200 in every area of sound.
If I would have say in short 250 is organic and natural and 200 on the other side artificial and digitally sounding (in direct comparison).

I did a compare on 220 pro and 250 pro, the 250 pro sounds noticeably better.
