Widely reports, the latest RIAA figures for music sales in the US in 2014 make interesting reading.

The big news is that total revenues from streaming (Internet radio, subscription etc) have overtaken revenues from CD sales for the first time.
There are now 7.7m subscriptions (worth $799M) to on-demand streaming services in the US up 26% on 2013.
Total streaming revenues are approaching $2bn annually.
CD sales continue to fall - down 12.7% but vinyl sales are up 49%
