I have recently changed my master-slave link from RCA to AES/EBU using a Neutrik adaptor on the Master and have noticed that when I power up the units the display on the Companion lights up a few seconds later than the Master. Does anyone know if this has something to do with the how the units have been configurated? i appreciate any comments.

Incidentally the AES/EBU link did improve the sound of the Devialet 400's especially in the lower regions.[Image: smile.gif]
I thought that was normal behaviour...that's how it's always been for my 400 (currently using RCA-RCA link).

Previously, using RCA-RCA link, both display lights came on simultaneously.
There has always been a small delay on my 800 companion, irrespective of link method.
