Stereo pair 103db dropouts - frogster99 - 19-Jan-2022 Hi are anyone having problems with the new 103db phantoms? I am having so many issues with dropouts I can't listen to them as a pair. This is in stereo or mono. As soon as I just switch to one phantom the problem is gone. Both phantoms are within 2 meters of the router and it doesn't matter if it's a wired or WiFi connection over Bluetooth or upnp. Devialet said they can see huge delays between the 2 speakers. RE: Stereo pair 103db dropouts - ragwo - 20-Jan-2022 Sorry for your troubles. What kind of router are you using? What does Devialet recommend you to do? My router is a Netgear RBS50 mesh network system. I am still waiting on a reply from devialet. They asked me to test swapping left and right channels and test in mono only. I did this with all the same results. I went back to devialet with this information and now I'm waiting for an answer. RE: Stereo pair 103db dropouts - ragwo - 20-Jan-2022 Are the speakers connected to a mesh node or the main router? Then turn off the node. Have you tried to connect the speakers directly to the main router with ethernet cables? RE: Stereo pair 103db dropouts - frogster99 - 20-Jan-2022 I haven't really tried to connect it to the main router as it's in a different room, everything else connected to that node works perfectly. I have a full surround sonos system connected to it without any issues at all, surly devialet phantoms should be as good at connecting to my network as my sonos are. RE: Stereo pair 103db dropouts - ragwo - 20-Jan-2022 Frankly, I don't think the Devialet speakers are. If Devialet can see huge delays between the speakers, there is probably a network issue. You should try to bypass the node to see if the combination is the culprit. By the way, do you use wireless or wired backhaul? |
