Same here.  Never had any equipment die on me in the last 45 years of HiFi.
As for the longevity of Devialet gear: we'll have to wait and see!

Lucky people!  I have had a pair of Arcam amps (in a bi-amp set up) that needed to go back for repair about four time between them.   My current Yamaha surround amp packed up under guarantee, and now a couple of years later occasionally trips out, even at low volume.  I am very pleased to say my Devialets have been faultless!

I'm too inpatient to power off. When I want to listen to something, I want to listen to it NOW, not 2 minutes later when it has booted up and the network has sorted itself out!!

The exception would be if I was going away on holiday for a couple of weeks, but anything less than that, I want it ready to go.
