Sounds to me the only option for me is the toslink directly to PC, as the Arch would be used for vinyl. I am reading Arch also has a audio delay, regardless, so doesn't seem that would be viable. Thanks for good info! I do not think the delay is resulting from Arch that much, but by the necessary processing in the Phantoms. Arch only converts the analogue signal into the proprietary Devialet protocol which is then delivered to the Phantoms. More or less the same way Dialog works. Arch is much more versatile though, and the Phono Preamp is derived from the Expert series. So for Phono it is anyway the best option available. They have a lot of processing power but they still produce a lag. This is why it becomes so difficult in DJ & Home Theater scenarios. There are ways to overcome this, some of them quite costly. There is a couple of means to connect a PC/Mac to the Phantoms: Analog (via Arch), Digital Coax (via Arch; BTW, it seems you can use more than one Arch in a setup), Digital via Toslink (Optical), Digital via UPnP (bit of a nightmare to be honest, very rocky implementation of UPnP by Devialet), Airplay (very reliable and stable), Roon (also very reliable and stable), Spotify Connect (no personal experience) and Bluetooth. That's it. Yeah, I would definitely have to pick one up if I were to go for the Phantoms. My only concern is the audio delay for wathcing movies/tv-shows.
