Ethernet interfaces are required to have galvanic isolation, it's part of the standard.  This is usually achieved using integrated pulse transformers such as the HALO device seen here.

Also, I think we can confirm that the remote control uses the Zigbee wireless protocol. There is a Zigbee controller board with a built-in antenna that is located on the bottom side of the main board, at the middle-front of the case. Behind the LCD display.
