It's good that they improved it from the original 108db, but I would have preferred if they went all the way to 24/192. Hopefully that comes with an update. Regardless, I am expecting my delivery this afternoon so I am eagerly awaiting them so I can set them up and hear them for myself.

Hi All
Good review there - well spotted - also gave me some great tracks to try on the new Phantoms!
I wasn't sure whether to upgrade or not but I'm glad I did - the new Phantoms are somehow just more 'musical' for want of a better word. I'm really quite suprised by how different they sound from the previous ones even though I thought the original speakers were fantastic.
I'm not an expert by any means but its nice to see the review confirming much of my own experience.
