What is it for this XLR input? Microphone???

RE: SAM Lab.... - moreno1973 - 14-May-2015

There is also socket with name ,,laser"!:-)

That looks very interesting to me as I have diy speakers and therefore never could use regular SAM. It could allow better woofer integration and time alignment! I hope it will be available on a temporary option /rental base.

Interesting indeed.

Very interesting! Rental option works too ... My speakers are New speakers but previous gen from KEF. So this could be interesting to watch out!. Thanks for Posting this.

Awesome news as my speakers will never be SAM'ed in house by Devialet.

RE: SAM Lab.... - JonathanG - 15-May-2015

Very good news. I was hoping that Devialet would find a way to to make SAM available more widely and this could be it. My Neat MF7s will never get enough votes so making this available is a great idea. Could see our friendly UK dealers getting them and either renting them out or dropping by when they are passing by or setting up.

Looks like it plugs into the back of the amp, I assume just while measuring.

There is a photo from Munich showing the other side and it has male phono and 4 mm sockets on it.
