I wanted to share with you a great video from a roundtable discussion around sound quality.
It includes the always enthusiastic vinyl evangelist Michael Fremer and also some veteran producers/ engineers such as Steve Berkowitz (he did the remastering of Miles' work) and Craig Street. The later tells how he recorded Chirs Whitley's "Dirty floor" - what an amazing story!
They cover a lot of ground from the CD-quality, SACD vs viny, loudness war, ...
