Excellent so far (about half way through my first listen).

Hi Ian - yes, me too  Wink

I'm enjoying the music, but what is your opinion of the SQ? I am a little underwhelmed, if I am honest . . .

I liked it so much I bought the 96/24. SQ was quite good, clearly well produced, mixed and mastered (IMHO). Maybe because my expectations weren't that high?

Cheers!

I must say I didn't really listen too carefully to the SQ, was just enjoying the music while getting on with other things.  Will have another listen...

Nicolas Jaar - Space is Only Noise

Last weekend i saw a concert of him on a festival, it was awesome! As is this album. It probably needs a few listens before it sinks in, but then..........

It's a great album. Are you streaming it? The first edition of the vinly is a little different as there were some samples that weren't cleared and tracks edited for the latter release.

The Duke Spirit "Sky Is Mine" (Qobuz)

Interesting album from a band I hadn't heard of until Qobuz highlighted them.  Reminds me a bit of Throwing Muses, among others...definitely worth another listen.

I only have a download at this moment. The vinyl is on the list to purchase...

He's great. There's an excellent Nicolas Jaar playlist on TIDAL. You also might like the Floating Points playlist, if you haven't already checked it out.
