Vaughan-Williams, Oboe Concerto. Jonathan Small, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Vernon Handley. CD.
Mind you I am listening to Chord Blu > Beresford Caiman II > Job Pre2 > Job225 > Goldmund Epilog 1&2, not the Devialet at the moment.

Before that Rodrigo y Gabriella, love the music but the sound is compressed and hammering up at the limiters. I end up listening to modern pop music CDs at around 15dB lower level on the Devialet than good classical recordings with natural dynamic range Sad

I looked up Rodrigo y Gabriela on the dynamic range database and you're quite right the CD offerings are very poor from that point of view
