Lovely sound, sublime recording.

Genesis, Trick of the Tail, DSD (thanks, HK!!)

I have heard this album a million times, in cassette tape, then CD, but the remastering and then this DSD file is simply wonderful, damn... Phil's drum kit is right there in my living room. Excellent music, too, by the way...

Cheers!

I've tried searching for this DSD release.  Can you let us in on the secret, please?

Have had some fun listening to Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road in 24/96 downloaded from Qobuz.

This is the 2014 remaster and sadly it is quite bright requiring some use of the tone controls. What's wrong with these sound engineers??

Liege and Lief! What a great record. The drumming on Mattie Groves alone is worth the price of admission.

Hi Thumb,

You are welcome. I have now spent a lot of time revisiting some very old stuff, both on CD and vinyl and have had some very pleasant listening sessions - must post some more on this!

I haven't got any Lucky Lopez Evans - must find some!
