Devialet Air 2.1.3 Driver stopped working - agentsmith - 12-Jul-2015

Out of the blue my Devialet 2.1.3 for Mac driver refuses to load.  With the following error message when trying to load the following message popped up:

Devialet Air 2.1.3 - Error
The Air Virtual Soundcard could not be loaded
Plese restart your computer

Restarting the computer did not help.

The strange thing is I do not recall making any changes on my system.

System details:

Mac Mini Mid 2011
2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
16 GB RAM
Headless mode, access by Screen Sharing

OSX 10.8

I tried a few things including uninstalling, re-download and reinstall, removing several unused software.

Any clue on how to debug this?

Thanks for any offers to help

Has the Mac done any automatic updates? if so remove them and try again.

Thanks, I don't know of any auto updates, how do I check and how would I remove them?

Have you tried a cleanup using Onyx?
That usually works for me unless a file is corrupt.
