Hi,

Have i missed something here  Rolleyes
Trying to use a interconnect cable with XLR in one end and a RCA in other end between master/companion, not possible anymore?
Cannot make this config in profile?

It is still possible.  First you need to disable the "share sources from companion" option on the companions RCA input, you can then select the XLR chaining option.

if you don't mind me asking, which interconnect brand are you using?

If you are asking what S/PDIF-AES/EBU inconnect people on this site are using, some are using Audioprana (like myself) while others are using Cabledyne. Still others are using DIY cables. Others are using the crystal S/PDIF supplied with the 400/800 and others have gone on the try use others.
