But one should also remember that there is no equal and musically sound on this side of 300,000 Kr (around 30 000 Euro). In our opinion Devialet D400 almost without competition because it is so unique. If you are still most concerned about the sound, there are many alternative amps out there, but no one in this price range that is as complete as this.

At least they didn't complain about the display being too small as in the review of D170/D200. Kind of ridiculous to make remarks like that when reviewing hifi gear at this level. But I guess some/many audio critics get paid to write nice things about crappy gear and to make irrelevant remarks like that about good gear.
