This is sth different.

These are like brownish little dots.

I do wonder where those spots come from though.

In Devialet manual there is written that we can use alcohol to clean chassis...

How to clean your Devialet product

Both the amplifier's body and the remote control is made of hand-polished solid aluminium with a layer of copper and nickel. The delicate surface is sensitive to finger acidity and grease. We recommend that you regularly clean the surface with the supplied cloth. If marks or stains are persistent, you may want to use a soft cloth moistened with alcohol or a window cleaning product.

I think that these little brown dots could be related with grease.

I had brown dots once. Think they are from the glue left from the clear plastic. I was able to wipe them off with glass cleaner with micro fiber cloth.

I have the same problem with the small brown dots on top of my D200 and they're hard to remove without a cleaning liquid.
Mostly they appear after a long period of loud playing. (and so rising bodywork temperatures)

I use a small amount of Glassex window cleaner and that works well, but you have to clean the brown dots when your Devialet is cold, otherwise you will get dried up stripes.

Hi !

I see on one of the pictures of the factory tour that they clean the Devialets with this product :

I have been using this product (Thanks Darthsteph) for over a year now. I just spray a little onto a microfibre cloth and wipe. It works beautifully on amp and remote.

That's the one.
Great product.
I have the 946ml spray bottle. A little goes a long way and at current rate of consumption that size of bottle will last me for several decades.
