RE: Best test tracks - Jayyyy - 17-Jan-2019 If you want to see your Devialet try to take flight from the intense bass, try Bummed - Blake Skowron RE: Best test tracks - Drifter - 17-Jan-2019 Try "Way Down Deep" by Jennifer Warnes off the album "The Hunter". You will be surprised by the bass on the track. I managed to destroy a set of Quad ESL988 electrostats with that track. RE: Best test tracks - ssfas - 17-Jan-2019 The most dynamic thing I know is "In the Middle Somewhat Elevated", Thom Willems. Bass - Cosmic Hippo, Bela Fleck My test tracks got through a range of sounds - voices, clapping, brass, percussion, violin, piano, then acoustic jazz trio and multi-part vocals. Rarely more than 30 seconds per track Would include: Ya Balad - Bachar Mar Kalife (Male vocal) Winterreise - Mathais Groene (Male Vocal) Tincian - 9Bach (Female vocal) OK Chorale from Parallax - Phronesis (piano) Bach partitas - Ibragimova (violin) Xenakis - Kuniko (Percussion) Clapping Hands - Reich LSO (clapping - this is a common speaker designer test) Reich - Kuniko (Marimba) Oud Duo - Marcel Khalife (Oud) Lots of good jazz trios on ECM Mozart Requiem - Harnoncourt Nickel Creek - Nickel Creek Massive Attack just to make sure RE: Best test tracks - mmorrison55 - 18-Jan-2019 Nils Lofgren - Keith don’t go Eva Cassidy - songbird Annie Lennox - Money can’t buy it. *Make sure you crank the volume Queen - just about anything Rebecca Newman - Canzonetta Sull’Aria (opera song from Shawshank Redemption) Tedeschi Trucks Band - Midnight in Harlem RE: Best test tracks - fb24601 - 14-Nov-2021 https://www.youtube.com/user/umduggu/videos Many excellent testing tracks for bass here, the drivers vibrating like crazy...
