Forum etiquette - GuillaumeB - 17-Jun-2016 Hi chaps - point of order here... I seem to be noticing this more and more but it does appear as though we are going off-topic a lot in the forum at the moment. So for example in a thread about new product launches we start ranting about AIR. Another thread about sound quality turns into a discussion about upgrade costs, when there is a separate thread about upgrades etc etc. I don't want to point fingers at anyone, after all I have been known to do this myself, but how about we all become a bit more aware of this?! One of the reasons this forum works so well is that it largely moderates itself, in 2 years or so of operation I have only had to lock a thread once! Pretty amazing if you think about it. Guillaume RE: Forum etiquette - thumb5 - 17-Jun-2016 Sounds good to me (and guilty as charged!). RE: Forum etiquette - Antoine - 17-Jun-2016 +1 RE: Forum etiquette - Pim - 17-Jun-2016 AIR is working fine for me...OOPS! RE: Forum etiquette - wwm - 17-Jun-2016 Naughty! Bill. RE: Forum etiquette - deviousalet - 18-Jun-2016 I appreciate the course correction. Thanks. RE: Forum etiquette - hk6230 - 18-Jun-2016 Agreed. RE: Forum etiquette - Eddye - 27-Jun-2016 If I may suggest the following: Refrain from using all caps at topic titles. We know it's a topic title, you don't need to "shout". RE: Forum etiquette - Jnan_devi - 28-Jun-2016 ... agreed, all CAPS is so color blind-ish feel i get. Suggest to keep it simple!. Regarding off topic posts - I m guilty in this department too. Will watch out. RE: Forum etiquette - Antoine - 28-Nov-2016 I posted the below in a new thread and was subtly informed by Eddye that I broke rule 2. So I'm removing that thread and copying its contents to this one. --- While I try not to I'm sure I myself break one or more of these 'rules' now and then. However I'd still like to share the general tips below for those not familiar with these. I've 'borrowed' these from: http://www.toptenreviews.com/services/ar...ette-tips/ Quote:What's the etiquette for posting to online forums?
