Lovely setup. Although those Olympica could do with a bit more toe-in.

Great looking system, I bet it sounds wonderful! I need to replace my old turntable, thanks for reminding me....

Think this depends on how far you sit from the speakers?

I have the Olympica 1 and they require some serious toe-in for a good soundstage. The Olympica have a lovely mid-range but frankly they struggle with precise instrument separation, or at least mine are. I have currently set them up following the rules of third, as explained in the manual. Actually, I have been spoilt by my Elac BS314 that have the AMT tweeter, those tweeter will put the instruments in laser sharp focus.

Ciao guys,

My experience is quite the opposite, my Olympica 2 have now been parallel to the side walls (no toe in) for almost two months or so and I couldn't be happier. Soundstage is as precise and impressive as it has ever been in my room. Since I removed the toe in it's been constant enjoyment every time.

I think speaker position is so room/listening position dependent that there are very few hard rules. Quite a fascinating subject I must say...

Very neat system btw KraaijCheck!

Moved in our new house a few weeks ago so my setup changed. What do you guys think?

Looks like the speakers are really close to each other. not great for sound stage but good for tone. Do you ever feel the need to pull then apart a bit?

Love the album rack.

The speakers are 114cm apart from each other. Unfortunatly my speaker cables are “just” 3m long and at the moment i’m not able to place the left speaker further out because there is no speaker cable left. In two weeks i’m gonna test with placement and longer cables. I’m gonna test smaller speakers as well (Wilson Benesch Vertex) to see if that wil work.
