Subwoofer disk dent - battlefork - 31-Aug-2016 Just got a Silver phantom for less than two weeks (+ Devialet Care) and managed to dent the subwoofer disk a little bit (thank you power cord). Does this affect sound quality? Love it so far and I'm thinking of getting a second silver phantom for stereo. But seeing how fragile it is makes me hesitant. RE: Subwoofer disk dent - MountainGuy - 31-Aug-2016 Audiowise, I don't believe a small dent makes any different at all as long as there is no hole in the woofers letting air in and out. Visually, that's another question... RE: Subwoofer disk dent - Rodrat2 - 02-Sep-2016 I nearly knocked one off it's stand yesterday. I may have to bite the bullet and buy a branch, twig or whatever it is called now. That is assuming I can find any. |
