Yes Roon supports 24 bit, works great with Air3 on either MacOS or Windows. No integration with Qobuz (just Tidal).
For a while I ran RoonServer on my Synology NAS (1812+ with 3 GB RAM). Then on a Mac Mini, then for a while on a Windows 10 laptop. Finally just decided to give it a proper home and bought an Intel NUC, installed Windows 10, and RoonServer on it. I am using the Skylake i5 model NUC from Intel, quite easy to just pop in the RAM and either an M.2 or SSD drive and off to the races one goes. IMHO. The thing easily fits in the palm of one's hand. Discreetly placed out of sight in a room far away from the music room, connected via ethernet to my switch.
