After talking to Devialet customer service, they acknowledged that the latest Spark update had a glitch that would cause it to stop playing local files when the iPhone screen went to lock. It's not a universal problem, but the fact that they're working on it and not denying it is hopeful. Meanwhile, Tidal works flawlessly.
