Tidal Desktop and Air settings - Exclusive Mode or Force Volume - Mr_Bill - 15-Apr-2017

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 and am running the Tidal desktop app.
I just installed AIR Witeless and it works almost perfectly with my 200 (and sounds great), - how simple!

In Tidal Settings:
I have NOT checked MQA Passthrough so the software does first unfold.

Exclusive Mode vs Force Volume - which one of these do I check for best audiophile performance?
Seems to me the computer volume control works in both modes.

Thanks,
Bill

I've used exclusive mode.

Not tried force volume in case it maxes out the Devialet volume (I think in some cases AIR can control the Devialet volume).

Exclusive mode sounds excellent with the tidal masters.
