Streaming through Devialet Air and the FMC is very listenable, tonal is slightly warmer, relax and imaging is slightly bigger, feels like it's more tolerate. but little hardness in some treble area. I was not able to feel the little hardness you are hearing in the treble area. Quite the opposite on my system, listening to AIR WiFi makes everything more aerial if this means something in English. I hope that this new combination with the Paul Hynes LPSU provides for a stable solution overtime.

Volume control from Roon for the Expert/Expert Pro, convenience switching, and DSD64 support. Plus Linux support, so it (AIR) can run on ROCK as well.
Glad to see this partnership bear fruit!

Hey! Good news for Mac users. I installed the newest version on my Mac Mini. Roon AIR sends DSD64 files to the Devialet for processing without having to convert to PCM. This was a limitation in the Devialet AIR implementation for Mac only (DSD worked correctly for Windows AIR).

That sounds really good. My first response is that it sounds better than the microRendu. Hope there's no white noise.

So far so good. No drop outs, no pauses, no white noise. Rock solid.
Will report back should I run into any issues.

Rock solid so far. I just picked up the iPad, turned on the Devialet remotely and played music! What you'd expect from Roon.......still waiting for white noise, an old habit. 90 minutes and counting.

Isn't it horrible, sitting there in anticipation of that blast of noise that may shred one's tweeters to bits? I know the feeling, I still remember the first time it happened.....Thankfully in the AIR 3 days that never happened to me.
