Can't select optical for dialogue in Spark? - Jamington2004 - 01-Jun-2017
Every time I select optical in Device settings / dialogue - it is just unselected again when I go back in!
Did 2 full resets. And strangely I didn't get the satisfying clicks when triple clicking the phantoms - but all the set up went fine
Only optical won't turn on
Anyone??

Had the same thing happening over and over. Seem to solve it by making sure each device had the latest spark up date - and then doing to full reset - where you unplug every device. Wait 30sec and then plug in dialog only - Wait for it to show solid white like 30 sec atleast. Then plug in each phantom and then do set up. Everything working perfect after that including optical switch

I frequently got this kind of issue, and some others, until I improved the wi-fi signal. Have you checked it with a wifi analyser to be sure you got that -65 dbm minimum? It's easy to find a free apply and it can change a lot your Dialog's life.
