http://www.grimmaudio.com There's info on the web site about the advantages and disadvantages of wide baffles. Because these speakers are thoroughly DSP-ed they are able to overcome the disadvantages. The Devore O 96 is similar proportions but not DSPed. Many horn speakers and electrostatics are super wide, of course, but I take it you mean dynamic cone speakers.
