Putting aside the legal wording within the Beta Software Program there would be a couple of benefits I can think of to use the most up-to-date software, which is Beta at present:
- If you agree for Olivier to use the latest Beta software then he can check your CI upgrade utilising that firmware (best for him to find any bugs, rather than yourself later).
- The next Release Candidate will be based on the latest Beta so when it's officially released should be simpler to utilise (you'll already be aware of the Beta features).
- Been advised that the only thing holding up the new RC is waiting for Spotify to certify Connect use on the Pro's, and also Apple Airplay Certification. That would appear to suggest that the latest Beta has ironed out most of the bugs and is the base for the new RC.
Us guys/gals in Aus won't be long after you, so will have the same predicament (possibly except for us here in Perth, who most likely will be end of March, and hoping new RC out by then).
