Comments on Sound Quality - CI & New Firmware 12.1.2 DOS 2.1.0 - Barrington Bob - 05-Jan-2018
Now that many have received their CI Board upgrade back and are using the new firmware
(SW 12.1.2 DOS 2.1.0), any comments about sound quality? I am particularily
interested in the 1000 Pro, but would appreciate comments on all models.
I am curious if my ears are deceiving me or is it just the 2/3 weeks without music.
I found the SQ to be richer and less edgy - still with plenty of detail and speed.

Mine sounds great, but without a side-by-side comparison, I wouldn't want to venture an opinion. It would be interesting to get two 1000 Pro owners together, one before the update, one after, and get their opinions...
