RE: Can You Hear the Difference in High Quality Music? Test Yourself - rik - 25-Nov-2014 No, I'm deaf as a post. :-) Re: RE: Can You Hear the Difference in High Quality Music? I will try tonight on my system and report back But I have to admit that I heard CD quality as good as high resolution files. So I guess it either depends on the quality of the recording or I'm deaf as a post as well RE: Can You Hear the Difference in High Quality Music? Test Yourself - Rob35 - 25-Nov-2014 On low (normal listening) volumes it's quite hard to differentiate i must say, only got 3 out of 5 and the ones i got right weren't a clear cut case Strange though since i normally do easily hear differences between spotify and qobuz. On the other hand, quality of the recording usually makes more difference in terms of perceived sound quality than if it's a lossless or (slightly) compressed file.
