I guess one mans drawback is another's 'getting more boxes for their money'. It again opens up the 'which is better, more power or dual mono' which seems even Devialet say themselves is the dual mono. I prefer the one box but only because its wall mounted and two would look a bit weird in my lounge and need a radical placement rethink (or just shove one under the sofa or something I suppose). Approx GBP price conversions from the initial site work out at: 140 £4,200 210 £8,300 220 £6,700 250 £12,500 440 £12,000 1000 £22,500 So actually the 210 might be good value, but its not really obvious, its a more confusing choice IMO. As always the 250 looks the least value unless you definitely plan to go to a 1000, but it was my best bet at the time. It seems the voltage is fixed by the ADH and cannot be adjusted upwards by firmware. The thermal limits can be improved by efficiency gains in software, or that's how it was explained before when the 170 went up. Who knows if that's going to be possible ever again. 140 & 210 pro?! - ghosttipper - 04-Jul-2018 My observe - but I could be wrong! The ADH architecture in the models 130 / 140 / 210 are identical and different to 220, 440, 250 and 1000. That was the same by the former EXPERTS 110 to 200/400/800 RE: 140 & 210 pro?! - Soniclife - 04-Jul-2018 (04-Jul-2018, 18:13)ghosttipper Wrote: The ADH architecture in the models 130 / 140 / 210 are identical and different to 220, 440, 250 and 1000.So the 130 is likely to firmware upgrade to the 140? 140 & 210 pro?! - Elztalbiker - 04-Jul-2018 It seems so, have a look to some dealer sites. They have changed the denotation in 140 not the text below you can still read 130 Pro Gesendet von iPad mit Tapatalk |
