I get it. That's a solid reason to buy one of these so clearly there is a market. The alternative for you would be digitising all your albums via the Devialet USB port. That's a big job though.

There are many phono/AD combinations in the market that can digitise the signal, but these can not put a live stream to Roon. Roon does not have an input for a USB or SPDIF signal. The only way at the moment is to connect to an internet radio instance to receive a stream. The Trans Vinyl unit can act as a radio station.
JRiver has a device for this kind of input, but that requires the server to be close to the source. Rumour has it that this is somewhat unstable...

I have a few vinyl 'rips' that I did a couple of years ago. These sound very good indeed. Let us say I rip 150 albums. It would take some time to do it even if I use an excellent program like Vinyl Studio (https://www.alpinesoft.co.uk/). Then I upgrade my vinyl rig. New player, arm and cartridge. The new kit sounds much better than the old so I should re-rip the 150 albums...

I may be missing something but the only reason I can see for streaming vinyl live is that you're unable to connect your vinyl rig directly to your Devialet's analog input. Is the vinyl rig in another room? I would think that a direct connection to the Devialet's analog inputs would be better than using another phono stage to do the analog to digital conversion and then to stream that to your Devialet over wifi unless you either can't make the direct connection from turntable to Devialet or the phono stage and analog to digital conversion in this device are noticeably superior to what the Devialet can do.

I think you mean Rogue Amoeba. They specialise in audio applications for various scenarios.
