140pro - comparing input SoundQuality - Frasup - 05-Jan-2019
Tried to compare SQ of USB,SPDIF and AIR (Roon from NAS) inputs of my 140pro. To ensure that all inputs had the same volume level, I measured the sound pressure with each input (same pink noise-track from the different input sources, source level 100%, Devialet-Volume at -30dB) which resulted in my Living Room in 59dB SPL.
I found that USB and SPDIF gave the identical SPL and AIR was 0.6 dB less.
Has anyone made similar experience, that volume level of AIR is less than other inputs ?
