Yellowing front button on 140 Pro? - awkaplan - 30-Jan-2019

I was cleaning off my 140 today, and noticed the front button is a sort of bronze color as opposed to the silver shown on the Devialet site.  I have a support ticket open regarding this.  Is this normal? Purchased November 2018 in Dubai.  It also seems to have quite a bit of “wiggle” to it.

Not sure about the bronze colour but both my 220PRO CI's (used as a 440PRO) have quite a bit of wiggle on the buttons. I think that is quite normal.

I tried to attach images; I suspect the coating of the button warped in color over time, or I never noticed it.

The pictures currently on Devialet's web site don't do a very good job of showing the actual colour of either the main body of the Expert 220 or the button on the front, I'd say. I had a 440 Pro until very recently and the buttons had a yellow-ish tinge from new, definitely not an exact match for the shade of the dark chrome finish.

Good point.  I’ve looked through Google Images but can’t seem to find many “real” photos of 140/220s.  The issue has been “escalated” to the Expert Team.

Finally compressed the images as to be able to post.  It would be helpful if others could do the same.

Devialet has escalated the issue apparently—I’ve found some photos of similar discoloration.  Maybe a bad batch went out?  Please let me know if you have the same issue.

I kind of like the look so for me that would be a 'special' batch.

@awkaplan -- mine looked much the same colour as in your photos. I expect that's just the way it's meant to be.

Devialet is saying this is not normal...will be interesting to see how this resolves.  Thank you for confirming.
