Earlier, it used to say AIR but now, its this ...

I was excited that Devialet finally managed to get the sleep mode working like other modern devices:

"Lower power consumption in sleep mode (around 1W)"

But now I think I misunderstood this line, consumption seems to be reduced by 1W (from 30W to 29W), not lowered from 30W to 1W.

It is really a marked improvement with this FW update .. the mid-bass is 'just right' and this lifts the tonal character from earlier 'slightly cool' to now perfect analog. Wow, I am impressed with just 30 min of listening as was home for lunch but it does promise a good job done by the DEV guys out there. With the tonal character now correct, you see a better top-to-bottom with sharper imaging and a well defined soundstage. It will surprise you @Pim ...

But is that RAAT or overall?

Should go away by itself see here

Thanks for sharing! As you noted, Roon Lab support states:

"The Devialet Expert series has been Roon Ready certified. The certification status should update itself in the next 24-48 hours in the background on your Roon Core."

That’s great. I hope this can work for non CI Experts as well. Or do they still use old firmware only?

@Pim, Devialet's site still says Experts and Expert Pros without Core Infinity should use firmware v10.x.x.

Sound is warmer, but had a scare that it did not automatically pick up my room correction.  YIKES!  All set now

Don't know if sound is warmer but it does seem to be sweeter and cleaner with a bit more ease to the sound.

I am generally sceptical about perceived SQ improvements due to software changes.  After upgrading, I played the same piece of music that I played last night - and it simply sounds better:  greater transparency and “airiness”.  From a SQ point of view, probably the most notable improvement since SAM
