Just got a second D400.It has made a big difference.I have Vaf i93 speakers.i have 1 400 driving the Bass and the other 400 the mids and highs.Did not think it would make such a difference.everything has improved.Any suggestions how to configure them?

At the moment i have 1 400 driving the highs and mids and running the mono out from both units to the 2nd 400 master, then linked to the campanion unit.

I guess not many have ever tried this sort of configuration. I think for chaining multiple Devialets you always have to use the RCA to AES connection.
As the speakers have all crossovers included I would not use the filtering of the Devialet and simply use all Amps in full range mode.
Not sure if this is possible but as SAM is only working up to 200Hz or so I would not activate it for the high frequency amps, not sure if that is working...
Have you also tried one amp for bass and one for the highs ? Is that better than the mono operation ?
